MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome to the Rupanuga Vedic College! Whether you are considering enrolling as a student, or wishing to join the teaching staff or are thinking of supporting the college’s efforts from a distance or are just curious, you have definitely come to the right place. The Rupanuga Vedic College is meant for cultivating the precious commodity which Lord Krishna describes in the Bhagavad-gita:

“In this world, there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental knowledge. Such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And one who has become accomplished in the practice of devotional service enjoys this knowledge within himself in due course of time.” (4.38)

Andha means blind, pangu means lame, and nyaya means logic. A blind man can walk but cannot see, and a lame man see but cannot walk. If the blind man takes the lame man on his shoulder, and the lame man gives him directions as he walks, combined, they can work. But individually neither the blind man nor the lame man can walk successfully. Similarly, the Western system of higher education, although well organized and sophisticated, is blind to spiritual necessity. On the other hand, although Eastern transcendentalism is highly esteemed, alone, it is lame to carry the world forward. As East and West embrace at the Rupanuga Vedic College, the world will become a place of peace and enlightenment.

Expert businessmen invest in burgeoning enterprises, so may we all take advantage of this momentous opportunity to engage our energy in the blissful Rupanuga Vedic College. Although the RVC is still relatively small, many knowledgeable persons feel it offers the finest program in the world for training and learning the science of self-realization.

Looking forward to your association soon,
Your well-wishing friend,

Danavir Goswami (Dr. Dane Holtzman)
President: Rupanuga Vedic College
